Fees are already beginning to come back now that AMC's are being regulated in more and more states, and with the RESPA changes. Brokers have largely been taken out of the picture and that probably isn't a bad thing either. Next in the crosshairs are the AMC's, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the process return to lender managed fee panels...makes sense.
